Mountain Moon came to me on a crisp winter morning as the sun was coming up, the moon still in the sky, and a fresh dusting of snow sat on Broken Top, a volcanic mountain in the Cascade Mountains. The starkness of the white moon and the snow capped mountain gave the sense of wonder of our universe - aren't we all just orbiting in space?
